FOR CHILDREN 11 YEARS OF AGE AND UNDER ON 1/1/08

 

RING – ALL WEATHER ARENA  COMMENCES 10.AM

 

CLASS 1.    Tiny Tots Lead Rein Working Hunter Pony.  Ponies not exceeding 122cms.  

                     Riders 7 yrs and under on 1/1/08.  Fences just off the floor.

 

CLASS 2.    First Ridden Working Hunter Pony.  Ponies not exceeding 133cms. 

                     Rider 8 to 11 on 01/01/08.  Fences 1’6”

 

Mini Championship for 1st & 2nd prize winners from the above two classes-WHP Mini Champ(1) 

Champion and Reserve are eligible for Supreme Championship.

 

CLASS 3    Beginners WHP not exceeding 133cms,riders 8-11years fences 1’9”

 

CLASS 4    Beginners M &M WHP not exceeding 133cms,riders 8-11years fences 1’9”

 

Working Hunters Beginners Championship for 1st & 2nd prize winners from the above two classes.

WHP Champion(2). Champion and reserve are eligible for Supreme Championship

 

RING 1-INDOOR ARENA COMMENCES 11AM

 

CLASS 5    Best Turned Out Pony & Rider- Winner eligible  for Supreme Championship (6)

 

CLASS 6    Lead Rein Show  Pony- Ponies not exceeding 122cms. Riders 7 years of age and under

                   on  01/01/08. Snaffle bridles only & lead rein must remain attached to ponies noseband at all times

                   throughout the class. 1st & 2nd eligible for Lead Rein Championship (3)

 

CLASS 7    First Ridden Show  Pony- Ponies not exceeding 133cms, riders 11years of age and under

                   on 01/01/08. Cantering only allowed in individual show.

                   1st & 2nd eligible for First Ridden Championship ( 4)

 

CLASS 8    Young Handler- Handler aged 5,6 and 7 years on the day.  Ponies not exceeding 128cms. 

                   Handler may be accompanied by adult but it must be the child who is leading the pony. 

                   Winner eligible for Supreme Championship (6)

 

CLASS 9    First Year First Ridden Showing- Any type of pony not exc.128cms.  Rider aged 7years

                    and under on 01/01/08 and must not compete in classes 7,19 ,22 or 24.

                    Adult  assistant allowed in the ring to help child without leading the pony.

                    Strictly no cantering allowed in this class. 1st & 2nd  eligible for First Ridden Showing

                    Championship (4)

 

FUN CLASSES- will be guest-judged during the lunch break as follows:

 

CLASS 10    Pony with the nicest tail

 

CLASS 11    Pony with the cutest face

 

CLASS 12    Sweetest Jockey

 

CLASS 13    Tiny Tots lead Rein Equitation- Any type of pony not exceeding 122cms ,

                      rider 5years and under on the day.  Snaffles bridles only & lead rein to be attached to noseband.

                      1st & 2nd eligible for Equitation Championship (5)

 

CLASS 14    First Year First Ridden Equitation-Riders 8years and under on 01/01/08.

                      Ponies not exceeding 128cms.  Riders not to have competed in  classes 7,19,22 & 24.

                      Will be  required to trot a figure of eight in individual show. No cantering in this class.

                      Snaffles bridles only. 1st & 2nd eligible for Equitation Championship(5)

 

CLASS 15    Ridden Veteran Pony- Open to all ponies 133cms and under aged over 15years. 

                      Lead Rein entries permitted. 1st eligible for Supreme Championship(6)

 

CLASS 16    Best Mannered Pony- Open to all ponies 133cms & under, to be ridden off the lead rein.

                      Riders 11years & under on 01/01/08. Individual show to include a small jump.

                      1st  eligible for Supreme Championship(6)

 

 

RING 2 INDOOR ARENA COMMENCES 11AM

 

CLASS 17   Young Handler –Handler aged 8-11years on the day. Any type of pony not ex.133 cms. 

                    Winner eligible for Supreme Championship(6)

 

CLASS 18    Lead Rein Mountain & Moorland- Ponies not exc.122cms to be shown in their natural state.

                     Riders 7 years and under on 01/01/08. Snaffle bridles only and lead rein must  remain attached to

                     pony’s noseband throughout class .

                     1st & 2nd placed eligible for Lead Rein Showing Championship (3)

 

CLASS 19    First Ridden Mountain & Moorland-Ponies not exceeding 133cms to be shown in natural state. 

                     Riders 11 years & under on 01/01/08.  Cantering only allowed in individual show.

                     1st & 2nd  placed  eligible for First Ridden Championship (4)

 

 Judges Lunch Break .

 

CLASS 20    Tiny Tots Lead Rein Showing- This is an ideal class to introduce children 5 years & under on the

                     day to the show ring. Open to any type of pony 122cms . and under which is suitable for a tiny to

                     start on the lead rein.  The judge may ask the child a few simple questions relating to their pony

                     followed by the performance of a simple short show.  Snaffle bridles only and lead rein must remain

                     attached to the pony’s noseband throughout the class. 1st & 2nd are eligible for the Lead Rein

                     Showing Championship(3)

 

CLASS 21    Standard  Lead Rein Equitation- Riders aged 6,7 & 8years on the day. Ponies not exc 128cms.   

                     Snaffle bridles  only and lead rein must remain attached to the noseband throughout the class. 

                     1st & 2nd eligible for Equitation Championship (5)

 

CLASS 22     First Ridden Equitation- Riders aged 8 to 11 years  on 01/01/08. Ponies not to exceeding 133cms.

                       Individual show to include canter on both reins.

                      1st & 2nd place eligible for Equitation Championship (5)

 

CLASS 23    Lead Rein Hunter Pony- Ponies not exc. 122cms. Rider 7 yrs & under on 01/01/08.

                     Snaffle bridles only and lead rein must remain attached to the pony’s noseband throughout the class

                     The pony and rider will be required to negotiate a course of small rural obstacles followed

                      by a short show.  1st & 2nd eligible for Lead Rein Showing Championship.(3)

 

CLASS 24   First Ridden Hunter Pony- Ponies not exc. 133cms. Riders 11 years and under on the 01/01/08.

                     Pony & Rider  will be required to negotiate a course of small rural obstacles followed

                     by a short show. 1st & 2nd eligible for First Ridden Showing Championship(4)

CHAMPIONSHIP 5-   EQUITATION-1st & 2nd  from classes 13,14,21 & 22

 

 

CHAMPIONSHIP 6- SUPREME  – Champions & Reserves from each  Championship section  plus winners

                                                             of classes 5,8,15,16 and 17 will complete for Supreme Champion
